THE TREE HAS LANDED, TORONTO! 🏗️🎄🥳 And the official unofficial start of the holiday season is here! Today, The Distillery welcomed a magnificent 55-foot silver fir from our friends at Drysdale’s Tree Farm (@drysdalestreefarm) in Mono Township — a fourth-generation, family-run Ontario business that’s been growing Christmas trees since 1945. At 51 years old, this stunning silver fir is the sister tree to last year’s(!), and hand-picked as the farm’s most beautiful fir of the season. And even after the holidays, its story won’t be over — the tree will be repurposed to support local landscaping and conservation efforts. As its branches settle, the transformation begins, with just ten days to go until the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony — when the lights switch on and the city’s holiday spirit illuminates!
