The Distillery District offers a unique and beautiful setting for personal photography, commercial photography, and filming.
Casual snapshots taken as memories, souvenirs, or for personal use may be taken at any time at no charge, however portraiture, photos for professional or semi-professional blogs or professional or semi-professional social media use, and any pictures taken for any kind of commercial require a permit in advance
PERSONAL/PORTRAITURE PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITS
To purchase Personal Photo Permits, please visit the Pitko website; all inquiries about personal photo permits should be directed to Pikto at 416-203-3443.
Distillery Personal Photo Permits are $225 + HST = $254.25, for four consecutive hours of photography, and are available for purchase online. Purchased permits are non-refundable.
Permits are required for all personal portraiture photography or film shoots at The Distillery District. This includes family portraits, wedding, engagement, or anniversary portraiture; it does not include portraits for professional use, student film or photo shoots, portfolio shoots, editorial, fashion, or commercial photography or filming, which are subject to different rates and conditions (please see below).
Photo crews using these permits must be limited to 2 members with minimal gear, and handheld lighting or props.
Distillery Personal Photo Permits provide for pictures to be taken outdoors at The Distillery only.
Distillery Personal Photo Permits do not allow access to patios of restaurants or cafes, doorways or entrances of the stores or tenant spaces, or inside any store, restaurant or space in The Distillery District.
Please consult the Distillery District Event Calendar for information about events that may be occurring during your photo permit time slot. Make sure and check the calendar frequently for new events and updates.

PROFESSIONAL OR SEMI-PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA OR BLOGGER PERMITS
Professional or semi-professional bloggers should contact cCandace Shaw, Outdoor Events Coordiantor, at firstname.lastname@example.org, to arrange for a permit. This is the case regardless of whether a professional camera or smart phone are used for the photo shoot.
COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITS
