We are currently accepting vendors for the following: 

THE DISTILLERY SUMMER MARKETS

The Distillery Summer Market will take place every Saturday & Sunday from May 18 – September 2, rain or shine.

THE DISTILLERY FALL MARKET

The Distillery Fall Market will take place Thanksgiving weekend (October 12, 13), rain or shine.

Featuring unique and artisanal products presented by vendors who can engage our community and speak knowledgeably about the local products they create, sell, and produce.

Please note: We do not accept applications submitted in person, via mail, or by any other method. Only those submitted via the online form below will be considered.

Some of the products that we are interested in hosting include:

  • Products that do not conflict with existing Distillery District retailers (for a full list visit the “Shopping” tab on The Distillery District Website)
  • Fresh flowers and plants (especially those suitable for condos)
  • Vegetables, fruits, greens, and grains
  • Seasonal produce including pumpkins, squash, and gourds during The Distillery Fall Market

The Distillery District does not feature the following products:

  • Mass-produced products
  • Jewellery
  • Candles
  • Baked goods
  • Ice Cream

Conditions

  • Vendor applications will be subject to a jury process to ensure that all participants support the vision of The Distillery District
  • The markets are weekend markets.  All vendors are required to be open both Saturday and Sunday as per regular operating hours
  • If accepted, Vendors will be assigned an approximately 6×3 apple cart
  • Vendors will be responsible for their own costs, including insurance, parking, and transportation
  • Vendors must commit to a term, and attend The Distillery Market for that term, rain or shine
  • Vendor areas must adhere to visual standards of cleanliness and professionalism
  • Vendors must carry their own insurance ($5 million minimum) as they will not be covered by The Distillery Historic District’s insurance

The Distillery District provides vendors with:

  • Advertising via our social media channels, and other online or print listings
  • Weekly musical buskers to add atmosphere
  • Access to public Wi-Fi
  • Complimentary use of market carts to sell from

The Distillery District does not provide:

  • Electrical hookups
  • Water hookups
  • Storage space for tents, tables, or goods

CALL FOR PERFORMERS AT THE DISTILLERY HISTORIC DISTRICT

The Distillery Historic District is a unique and beautiful venue for performers looking to showcase their talents and ingenuity to visitors and passers-by.  From May until October 2024, individuals and groups can apply to perform on our Community Stage!  This new program offers valuable stage time for those looking to hone their craft and entertain the masses.

Where Can I Perform? 
Successful applicants will be allowed to perform on the Community Stage located in the centre of Trinity Square.  Performers will be required to bring the equipment they need for their performance and the site will provide one (1) power drop for use on the stage.

When Can I Perform?
Successful applicants will be required to sign an agreement in advance of any performances.  Insurance may also be required.  Upon signing, management will work with you to determine a timeslot on stage, based on availability.

Important Information:

  • This is not a paid opportunity.  Applicants acknowledge that no compensation will be offered for any performance/event taking place during the Community Stage program.
  • Requests for backline support may be subject to site approval or additional fees.
  • A power drop is available on stage.
  • Performances must be kept at a maximum 85 decibels at all times, and any request to lower the volume or cut short your performance/event made by security or site personnel must be immediately adhered to.
  • Performers must be polite and professional at all times.  Belligerent or disrespectful behavior to staff, security, patrons, residents, or business owners will not be tolerated.
  • Performers must adhere to The Distillery Historic District’s Code of Conduct (below).

The Distillery Historic District Code of Conduct

  • Your performance/event, including any symbols therein, appearing on The Distillery Historic District grounds will not promote the hatred or derision of any group.
  • Your performance/event is not an organized protest or political demonstration nor affiliated with such of any kind.
  • Your performance/event will not cause and is not intended to cause unreasonable danger to the health and safety of the public.
  • Your performance/event will not cause and is not intended to cause action which could incite violence.
  • Your performance/event appearing on The Distillery Historic District grounds shall be consistent with the principle of respect for the dignity and worth of all persons.
  • You understand that no activities of any sort in relation to your performance/event or its requirements are permitted to take place inside, on the patios, or in the entrance ways/doorways of any of The Distillery Historic District tenants, shops, restaurants, or spaces unless explicitly invited to do so in writing by site management.
  • No weapons or props resembling weapons are permitted on site.
  • The desecration of flags or other national symbols is strictly prohibited.
  • Performers must be polite and professional at all times.  Belligerent or disrespectful behavior to staff, security, patrons, residents, or business owners will not be tolerated.
